Bernard Friedman is Managing Partner of Flying Mind, a Los Angeles based multidisciplinary documentary development and production company. A producer for more than 20 years, he has produced films, commercials, public radio segments, Internet media and marketing videos.  American Homes/ The American Idea of Home is his first directorial effort.

	Gwendolyn Wright is Professor of architecture at Columbia University in the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Author of six books and scores of articles, she has written extensively about American architecture and urbanism.
