Edinburgh International Film Festival screened American Homes on June 24, 2011 as part of the programme Animated Realities which explored this increasingly popular form of animated documentary.

American Homes will be shown as part of an “outstanding and magical lineup of animation from around the world”  at the Savannah International Animation Festival on February 4th and 5th, 2011. http://www.savannahinternationalanimationfestival.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=104

American Homes had its world premiere at the Architect Africa Film Festival in September 2010.

AAFF is hosted every 2 years and traveled to Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth where international and local films featuring the built environment were screened to the public at central cinema complexes.
